DSEi 2011 Exhibition
September 2011
This year's DSEi show was a huge success for Chess Dynamics.
The exhibition gave Chess a chance to showcase our new and exciting products including the Guardian electro-optical director (EOD); a high performance, low profile, weapons fire control EOD with potential application within a revised FRES programme, and Mamba; a light compact sensor with high stabilisation capability.
In addition, Chess worked in partnership with Marshalls SDG to demonstrate 'mobile surveillance reconnaissance capability' by mounting the Owl EOD onto Marshalls Trakkar© vehicles. This was demonstrated twice daily throughout the show.

Sea Cobra Trials
August 2011
During August, Chess Dynamics successfully trialled its Sea Cobra electro-optical surveillance and tracking system.
The Sea Cobra has already been selected as an offshore, naval security platform but it can also be used on board commercial ships in counter-piracy applications.
Developed from the land version, it delivers advanced panoramic scanning, image stitching and automatic target detection, which optimises the chances of detecting threats, while reducing operator workload.
23rd Annual Navy Gold Coast Small Business Opportunity Conference

Chess Dynamics and its US partner company, RIEtech Global, successfully launch the Sea Cobra in the US at the Gold Coast Conference, San Diego.
The system which is an integrated optical sensor system, fully qualified for ship and shore surveillance and security applications, attracted considerable interest at the Gold Coast Conference.
Seawork International Exhibition
June 2011
Chess Dynamics exhibited alongside our Marine agent Quantum Marine Marketing Ltd at the Seawork International Exhibition in Southampton.
On display was the Sea Cobra, a fully navalised high performance servo positioning platform. It has been principally developed for stabilised ship applications for situational awareness, security and surveillance applications.

Counter Terror Expo – 19th & 20th April 2011

Offshore Patrol & Security

Chess Dynamics exhibited at the Offshore Patrol & Security Conference held at Portsmouth Royal Navy Dockyard. On display were the Sea Cobra, a compact, stabilised, fully navalised, high performance platform and Hand Controller Unit (HCU).
In addition to this, our Iota tracking and surveillance director and Operator Control Console (OCC) were on display on the Selex Galileo stand.

Chess Raises a Massive £851.50 for Movember 2010!

During the month of November, Chess staff were sponsored to grow a moustache in aid of Movember. Our team of 7 engineers managed to raise this fantastic amount of money by growing a variety of different styles of moustaches. The girls also joined in by organising cake sales and completing a 5km Mo-Run.
The money raised will be split between the two beneficiary partners of Movember:
The Prostate Cancer Charity, the UK's leading charity working with people affected by prostate cancer.
Everyman (Institute of Cancer Research), a campaign to raise funds and awareness into prostate and testicular cancer research.
New Sales & Marketing Representative

Chess Dynamics are pleased to announce the appointment of Quantum Marine Marketing Ltd as their sales and marketing representative in the maritime and commercial security industries.

Nick Dalton, Managing Director of Quantum Marine Marketing Ltd told Sea Work News "This is a really exciting development for Quantum and adds to our capability considerably. We're looking forward to having the product on the stand or even in action at Seawork 2011 as it's perfect for vessels and coastal applications alike."
Graham Beall, Managing Director of Chess Dynamics Ltd says that the tie-up with Quantum is a logical step. "We're well known in the naval market but not in the commercial marine industry. We're pleased to have tied up with Quantum to help us take this proven product to a wider audience and we're also looking forward to having it on display at Europe's premier commercial marine show."

It was another fantastic exhibition for Chess at this years DVD event at Millbrook, Bedfordshire. During the exhibition we were able to demonstrate many of our products including our new Viper Pan and Tilt head; a compact, lightweight dual axis platform ideal for land based applications.

Eurosatory

Chess Dynamics exhibited for the first time at the Eurosatory Exhibition held in Paris. The show was a huge success with record numbers of enquiries. Chess' Cobra Electro-Optical Platform was even featured in the Eurosatory Daily produced by Janes magazine.

DSEi 2009 Exhibition

Chess Dynamics will be exhibiting at the Defence Systems and Equipment International show at London's Excel Centre in Docklands. Chess Raise £300 to Help Local Charity St Catherine's Hospice!
December 2008
Every year Chess raises much needed funds for St Catherine's Hospice at our Christmas Party and this year was no exception as we managed to raise a whopping £300. A raffle was held, which was so popular that we even sold out of raffle tickets!
The money will go towards helping the Hospice, which provides specialist care and support to terminally ill patients and their families.
