EOP

The COBRA Electro-Optical Platform (EOP) is a high performance, compact dual axis, servo positioning platform, developed primarily for carrying an extensive range of optical sensors. It is also well suited for rugged ground deployment and harsh vehicle mounted situational awareness, security and surveillance applications.

The COBRA EOP is fully qualified for mounting onto armoured wheeled vehicles, fully compliant with all of the latest environmental requirements including EMC to land Class A. Being backlash free and relatively low fiction it is suitable for gyro stabilisation when required.

For tracked vehicle applications the COBRA can be upgraded and supplied with an optional ultra-strong lower bearing housing, capable of withstanding severe track induced vibration and shock.
