The OPERATOR CONTROL CONSOLE (OCC) pedestal unit is a standalone Operator Interface Control Unit (OICU) that can be configured to operate any of the Chess platform products, as well as most of the industry's leading sensors, and also house system control products.
The pedestal unit has capacity for a 17" or 19" full colour LCD screen with frame mounted configurable function buttons, below the screen is an ergonomically placed integrated ruggedised joystick and mouse/keyboard combination. Along with the main CPU, there is also ample room below for fully customisable hardware such as data recorders, camera control units, power supplies, and system control units.
The OCC's colour LCD screen can be customised to display a range of video inputs (see also SASS), which can easily be accessed using the 20 function buttons available.
