Practical Concept Proving
Even with today's computer modelling techniques we recognise the need to physically try out our ideas to prove functionality and performance. Chess Dynamics has invested in a number of prototyping CNC machines to quickly and efficiently turn concepts into reality and as we are practical engineers there is no substitute for handling and testing the real thing.
CAM
Computer Aided Manufacture has allowed us to send complex 3D CAD models directly to the CNC machining centre and with the appropriate tooling manufacture the parts without the need to produce dimensional drawings, reducing the manufacturing time down to hours and hence controlling costs during the prototyping phase.
Rapid Prototyping
Time is indeed money in this modern fast moving world, delays are unacceptable, and getting the products to our customers in the shortest possible time is crucial and must be without risk. Chess Dynamics can now use its own machining facility to accelerate the critical development of parts and mechanisms, rapidly enabling unique principles to be assessed and proved.
Chess is continually expanding its manufacturing capabilities in house, along with developing its partnerships with premier manufacturing suppliers. This ensures we provide consistent quality production on time and to cost.

Productionisation
Once the prototype has been fully evaluated, it is often found that modifications and enhancements are required to improve performance, reliability and more often than not there is an additional requirement to reduce manufacturing costs. This evolutionary process to attain product maturity is completely appreciated by Chess Dynamics.
Our engineers are on hand throughout the life of the product to assist with through-life updates and to deal with obsolescence and future major upgrades.
