Sydney SME partners with Chess Dynamics to support FCEO systems development: Defence Connect
The Chess Dynamics association with Owen International began four years ago and grew substantially with the selection of the Type 26 for the Hunter Class programme in 2018, where our Sea Eagle systems will be integrated.
Owen International Pty Ltd is an Australian Defence SME, experienced in the delivery and through life support of advanced electronic equipment to the Australian Defence Force. The agreement between Chess Dynamics and Owen International will enable Chess Dynamics’ products such as the Sea Eagle FCEO to be offered to the Royal Australian Navy in a way that meets the objectives of the Australian Government’s Sovereign Industrial Capability Priorities.
The technology transfer and up-skilling of Owen International’s workforce facilitated by SEA 5000 and other Royal Australian Navy programs will allow Chess Dynamics’ products to be supported locally in Australia, and further expand Chess Dynamics’ footprint in the Asia-Pacific region.
