Owen Sogeler joined Chess Dynamics in 2025 as Sales Manager for the Vision4ce product range, supporting customers with advanced video-processing software and compute-hardware solutions. He works closely with customers to identify and deliver technologies that meet demanding automation and imaging requirements.

With over 15 years’ experience in machine vision and automation, Owen began his career at Stemmer Imaging Ltd, focusing on R&D markets, before moving to Cognex as a Presales Engineer. There, he designed and supported machine vision systems for major logistics operators including Amazon, DHL and Ocado. His expertise spans cameras, imaging systems and their application within highly automated environments.
Owen has worked across a broad range of sectors, and is recognised for his collaborative, customer-focused approach. He holds an MEng in Chemical and Processing Engineering and an MSc in Refinery Design and Operation. Outside work, he once drove a three-wheeler to the top of a mountain in the Himalayas.
