We currently require experienced engineers to take a senior position in the engineering team to help lead and proactively develop electronics within the business as it progressively expands.

We are currently recruiting a Wirer to join our team to build and wire both prototype and production electronic equipment working from drawings, circuit diagrams, and engineer’s sketches. Ensuring work gets completed to the deadlines set by the production team. Ensuring wiring best practices, quality standards and procedures are adhered to.

The purpose of our Field Service Engineer (FSE) role at Chess Dynamics is to provide field support to our customers worldwide by ensuring the stable operation of our hardware & software products, which include fire control systems, Naval electro-optical surveillance systems and land/vehicle surveillance systems. This will involve installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all products and systems.

Joining the Operations team and reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for the co-ordination, control and oversight of all manufacturing processes for the associated Product families. The Production Supervisor will work closely with the Production Manager to ensure the correct planning, prioritisation and resourcing of work. The Production Supervisor will ensure that all products are produced to cost, on time and ensure all quality processes and requirements are adhered to.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Production Engineer with an electronics/test bias to join our team. In this position they will support operations, designing and producing test equipment for in process sub-assembly testing and LRU/RMA Testing and writing the test plans to carry out this testing. Also providing technical support to the Operations department to improve operations processes and resolve technical issues.

As an experienced Senior Systems Engineer, the role will require leadership within the full System design and development life cycle which includes electrical and electronic systems, hardware, and embedded software. The role is also expected to drive continuous improvement of systems engineering within the broader engineering team through mentoring, training, and process improvement.

Joining the Purchasing team and reporting to Supply Chain & Continuous Improvement Manager, the Senior Buyer will be responsible for executing the supply chain strategy, developing and driving strong risk mitigated supply partnerships, to ensure the delivery of quality products and services on plan, at the lowest cost of ownership.

The Mechanical Engineer role sits within the Hardware team supporting the development of high-performance video and imaging processing products which are sold under the Vision4ce brand. The team deal with all aspects of electronics, electrical, systems, mechanical and thermal management for a range of video-focussed, ruggedised compute platforms targeting high-performance compute applications, video capture and tracking. Our products are focussed on practical solutions to real world scenarios. The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for all mechanical and thermal aspects of the Vision4ce products.
