Chess Dynamics raises money for MacMillan Cancer Support

The annual Macmillan Coffee Morning took take place across all Chess sites and our team used it as a great excuse to make, bake and partake in some delicious cake (…and biscuits, buns, scones, as well as many other delicious tea-time treats), and to dig deep to help Macmillan Cancer Support – an incredible charity which raises vital funds to support people living with cancer.

This year’s coffee morning coincided with World Maritime Day on 26 September, so several nautical nibbles made an appearance too!

Since 1990, the Macmillan Coffee Morning has brought together millions of people from across the UK to have fun and raise money for a good cause.

Macmillan Cancer Support is 98% funded by voluntary donations, which allow the charity to help with the things that matter the most to people affected by cancer.

This includes support through treatment from amazing Macmillan nurses, help with money and the extra and unexpected costs that living with cancer can bring, emotional support through the Macmillan Support Line, and so much more.
